PastorAL TEAM

  • Althea Washington, EXECUTIVE Pastor

Althea was born and raised in Madison, WI. As an avid Badger fan and student she studied business and psychology in preparation for a career in Human Resources. Driven to succeed, she chased promotions in several Midwest states until settling down in Milwaukee. Yet even while climbing the corporate ladder she longed for a vocation truer to her heart. Her prayers were answered when she heard the call from God and accepted His call into full-time ministry. Her heart’s desire is that every person would find their self-worth in the unique calling that God has for their individual life. In her free time, Althea’s always up for an adventure -  whether it’s leading a weekly book club in jail, completing a 60 mile walk in the hills of San Fran, or trying to convince at least one of her friends to attend a country music concert with her (still no takers..!). Althea feels absolutely blessed to be a part of TCC.

  • Megan Westra, Transitional Pastor

Megan grew up in the mountains of West Virginia, and moved to Milwaukee in 2010. She will complete her Master's of Divinity with a concentration in Community Development through Northern Seminary in June of 2020. Her first book, which investigates the intersection of religious life and consumerism, is also set for release summer of 2020 with Herald Press. Megan has been married to her husband, Ben, for nine years and they have one daughter, Cadence. They live in TCC's community house in the Sherman Park neighborhood

  • Kevin Sas-PÉrez, Youth Pastor

Kevin, a native of Hull, IA (the birthplace of the Pizza Ranch!), moved to Milwaukee in 2009 to be the youth pastor at TCC. He loves eating pancakes (and ice cream, and burgers, and, well pretty much anything), playing board games, watching the NBA, and telling rad (not dad) jokes. He also apparently loves putting things in parentheses. He loves spending time with youth, learning about Scripture with them, beating them in basketball and 2K, and journeying with them as they discover who they are as God’s beloved. He hates coffee, Chicago sports, celery (ok, maybe he won’t eat everything!) and losing. He wants to see the Bucks win the championship and for everyone to see the goodness and love of God in their lives.

  • Brandon Oliphant, RECONCILIATION PASTOR

Brandon is a native of Milwaukee where he and his lovely wife, Charonda, reside with their two children. He's always had a passion for working with children/students. This passion has led him to past work in youth ministry at previous church homes, along with non-profit work serving/mentoring students k-4 through 12th grade. Ever since the age of twelve Brandon has played the drums in the church, and is currently part of the worship team at TCC as a drummer/vocalist.  Brandon enjoys watching football, basketball, anime (though he's still kinda' new to the genre), and superhero shows. His favorite NFL player was/is Peyton Manning, and as far as Basketball it will always be the great Kobe Bryant!
