We offer a variety of classes throughout the year, some recurring and some only occasionally.
Studying together is one way we live into our community values of empowerment and growth.
Regular Classes:
TCC 101: Intro to TCC
This class introduces you to TCC, our history, our vision and mission, and our beliefs. This class is required for church membership, and is highly recommended for anyone who is considering becoming a regular part of the TCC community.
Growing in our Faith: Spiritual Disciplines
This class focuses on foundational practices that help connect us with God and one another. We'll discuss practical ideas for integrating spiritual disciplines such as prayer, study, community, stewardship and Sabbath. into our lives.
Finding our Place of Service: Spiritual Gifts
This class focuses on how God can use your spiritual gifts, passions, abilities, personality, and experiences to serve others. Whether you're already serving in ministry, or thinking about getting involved for the first time, this class will help you practice discerning the invitation of the Spirit to join in the work God is already doing in our midst.
Basics of Community Development: Reconciliation, Redistribution, Relocation
In this class we will explore some key values we find in the gospel that shape our understanding of what it means to live as God's people in our community. This class is for people who are interested in diving deeper into the CCD philosophy that informs our approach to ministry at TCC.
