pastoral care

From time to time, we all go through a difficult season of life. As a church, we believe that we should walk alongside of you through the ups and downs of life. In honest and loving relationships we celebrate together, suffer together, grieve together, lament together and confess our sins to each other. It is within these honest and loving relationships that bring healing and wholeness. One way we do this is through pastoral care.

We also have trained individuals within our church who walk alongside people who are hurting through a ministry called Stephen Ministry.  Perhaps going through grief, job loss, divorce, or some other difficult season of life.  Each Stephen Minister is ready to come alongside you weekly to encourage, listen, pray and offer spiritual insight.  This is no substitute for professional counseling, but it is a great place to start.  If you are interested in learning more, contact Althea.

stephen ministry

Stephen Ministry is a program that we offer that offers trained individuals within our church to walk alongside of people that are hurting, meeting weekly to encourage, listen, pray for and offer spiritual insight to those going through grief, job loss, divorce, loss or some other difficult season of life.

Each Stephen Minister has gone through an intensive training and is ready to come alongside of you in this season of life for as short as a few months to as long as a few years - however long it takes for you.

This is no substitute for professional counseling but is a great place to start. To be joined to a Stephen Minister one must be a member (a regular attender) of TCC. To learn more about this process contact Pastor Althea.
